Support Analyst (Service & Quality) (Placement Year 2024/25)
Support Analyst (Service & Quality)
(Undergraduate Internship/Placement Year – 12 months)
Hi, welcome to Kia UK!
Founded in 1944, Kia was originally known for our bikes…then motorbikes…and now, the best cars in the world (in our opinion anyway!). These cars include the award winning Sportage, alongside our world beating Electric Vehicles, such as the awesome EV6 – which can top 165mph!
Kia is at the forefront of electrical vehicle development and currently we’re the 4th largest vehicle manufacturer in the world, but we’re not stopping there. Right now, Kia is going through a major transformation that’s taking us from followers to leaders in the Automotive space. This is where you come in…
Service and Quality are essential to our mission: “to create space for people to get inspired and time to bring their ideas to life”. Consumers no longer just want a great product, they expect a great experience too. As a Support Analyst, you’ll be taking ownership of some vital data management and analysis to identify trends in our business lifecycle that will genuinely change Kia’s future.
What will I be doing?
Managing and leading research projects as well as competitor studies to ensure we’re staying ahead of the market
Producing and distributing weekly and monthly activity and performance reports on our departments – you’ll also have autonomy to develop and enhance reporting to provide greater clarity, insight, and forecasting
Carrying out in-depth monthly analysis of warranty claims, monitoring dealer activity and performance, analysing claims data and identifying trends and focus areas
Providing administrative support for the co-ordination and management of warranty audit activity, by producing and distributing relevant pre-audit documentation and audit follow up communications
Collating and producing accurate monthly invoicing files for relevant service programmes
Assisting the Quality team with the collation and provision of new model service data
Carry out research and competitor studies for service programmes and warranty offerings
Providing general support and assistance to the Service & Quality and field teams
Am I right for this?
We don’t want to discourage anybody from applying for this role by making a long list of requirements but to summarise; we want someone who is genuinely passionate about understanding Analytics so ideally studying a relevant course in business, commerce, or statistics.
This role will encourage you to act quickly, test your flexibility, and motivate you to constantly adapt to new things. You can get a huge amount of experience, knowledge and skill development out of a year with us so we’d really love to welcome someone with big dreams that we can support!
