As a Dealer Development Executive you will be involved in a number of exciting projects raising the profile of the Kia brand and quality of our Dealer network.  Currently this includes:

  • Design and implementation of our new corporate identity (Global Store Concept) across the Kia network that is transforming Dealer facilities

  • Assisting with the setup of new Dealer appointments to the network, including transitions of ownership, acting as a key link between the Dealer and Kia UK (KUK) colleagues across the business

  • Analysis of Dealer KPI reporting through the Dealer Excellence Awards programme reviewing top performing Dealers and areas for improvement

This is a fixed term contract role for 6-12 months.

Purpose of the Job:

· The Dealer Development Executive will play a key role in a wide range of departmental activities working closely with colleagues, Dealer partners and suppliers to continue the development of the Kia network

· Analysing Dealer and market data, departmental reporting of results, making recommendations to assist with strategic decision making, Dealer appointment and termination processes, and acting as a key contact between a number suppliers and Dealer partners

 

Main Responsibilities:

· Responsibility for Dealer appointment and termination processes; acting as a main point of contact between the Dealer, other Kia UK (KUK) departments, and key suppliers

· Take a lead role in the implementation of the new Global Store Concept (GSC) corporate identity, acting as a main point of contact between Dealer partners and suppliers during the programme

· Working closely with the Dealer Development team in the ongoing development of the network representation plan

· Analysis of geographic areas to highlight business opportunities and impact on existing Dealer representation

· Reporting and evaluation of Dealer performance using operational and financial Key Performance Indicators for management review

· Understanding of the Dealer composite process, to include the analysis, interpretation and reporting of financial data received from Kia Dealers

· Providing support during the annual Dealer Business Planning process; to include project planning, monitoring submissions, and assisting Dealers with successful completion of their BP where required

· Evaluation of Dealer compliance to Brand Standards, and monitoring of follow up actions where shortfalls are identified

· Development and maintenance of the Dealer Development Database

· Dealer visits to assist with achievement of business objectives and to support personal development

· Creation and processing of business proposals on SAP as required by the Dealer Development team

· Report the results of the business across the company and Kia Europe / Kia HQ within specified deadlines

· Ad-hoc reports to the management of KUK as required

 

Person Specification:

· Educated to degree or able to demonstrate sufficient experience and commercial intellect to manage all aspects of the role

· Desirable – experience working in the automotive industry

· Highly numerate and PC literate. MS Office (PowerPoint/Excel/Word)

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Self-starter, motivated, driven and with a desire to learn

· Analytically minded with a strong attention to detail

· Project and Stakeholder Management skills
