The Role

We are recruiting for an IT Helpdesk role on a 6-12 month FTC. This is a great opportunity for someone to provide 1st and 2nd line support for all Kia UK, Kia Bolton and Kia Ireland employees, dealers, contractors and agents with PC, Server, networking and applications/hardware problems via phone, email or onsite visits.

 

The following is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities for the role:

  • To provide ongoing support, maintenance, upgrades and installation of all supported software and hardware as defined by the Infrastructure Manager

  • To provide 1st, and 2nd line support queries professionally and efficiently, maintaining a high degree of customer service so that ensure that all SLA’s are met 

  • To respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, electronically

  • To prioritise and manage many open cases at one time and escalate situations requiring urgent attention

  • To take ownership of user problems, perform a technical diagnosis and fix the issue either remotely or on-site


About you

  • Relevant qualification is preferred but not essential

  • Some experience in a similar role

  • Customer focused and a good team player

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 and 365

  • Strong knowledge of laptops, desktops and network printers

  • Understanding of Active Directory, Virtualisation, Networking, SAP

  • Full clean driving license

The Location

The Kia UK Head Office is based in Walton-on-Thames, just a 5 minute walk from a train station which is under 30 minutes from London Waterloo. We also have plenty of on-site parking for drivers, including EV charging ports.
