The Role

We currently have a vacancy for a talented and driven individual to operate a Regional After Sales field management role within the organisation, based in Northern Ireland. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for career progression within a highly successful business. You do not need to be an automotive aftersales specialist to apply. The successful candidate will be supported to acquire the more detailed aspects of this role on the job, through the support and guidance of our UK number one ranked Aftersales Field Team. More important are your interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to influence change. If you have experience within account management, along with strong coaching and persuasion skills, this could be the ideal role for you.


Overall responsibility

Maximise dealer after sales performance and profitability. Increase parts and accessory sales and customer retention, utilising ‘SMART’ dealer action plans. Manage at dealer/regional level the customer satisfaction performance to achieve No. 1 position in industry CSI surveys. Implement marketing activities to achieve KUK, (Kia UK Limited) commercial objectives. Act as the link between KUK and the dealer network.Commercial Requirements

·         Achievement of Regional parts & accessory targets, ensuring genuine parts and accessory are purchased from KUK

·         Ensure dealers participate in all available key commercial programme opportunities and marketing activities, to maximise profitability

·         Ensure participation in KUK/KEU Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) programmes. Generate relevant dealer action plans to improve performance

·         Develop and train dealer staff in all aspects of KUK programmes, policies, procedures and charters

·         Ensure dealer staff are aware of all KUK technical and commercial bulletins and communications, including policies and standards

·         Ensure dealers fully utilise KIA approved systems / programmes to maximise Retention, CRM and available revenue opportunities.

·         Identify & implement after sales “Best Practice” initiatives within dealer network, maximising profitability & reducing KUK costs.

·         Produce high standard visit report documents with fully integrated SMART based action plans


General Requirements

·         Provide support for dealers and key internal departments, (i.e. KIA Contact Centre, Warranty, Technical, Quality and Parts & Accessory teams)

·         Ensuring dealers participate and develop within all core training modules, utilising KIA Academy or core programme initiatives.

·         Support new dealer appointments to ensure total understanding of KUK systems and processes

·         Ensure all KUK policies and franchise standards are met, ensuring the relevant areas of the dealer agreement are met and maintained

·         Support, implementation and deployment of projects and short-term commercial initiatives within assigned timescales

·         Full UK driving licence

·         The role requires the successful candidate to live within the territory or a reasonable commute, alternatively we will consider applications for candidates who are prepared to relocate. The territory is Northern Ireland.


About You

Education·         Degree educated or graduate calibre desirable but not essential

Experience·         B2B Experience (Automotive manufacturer desirable)

·         Retail customer facing experience (dealership operations desirable)

·         Ability to negotiate at senior management levels

·         Influencing change to drive Performance Improvement

Skills·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         Strong coaching and persuasion skills

·         Self-starter, confident, organised, motivated, driven and with a desire to learn

·         Strong presentation skills

·         Ability to interpret and present complex data

·         Numerate and PC literate. MS Office (PPT/Excel)

Location/Travel

The Kia UK Head Office is based in Walton-on-Thames, just a 5 minute walk from the station. We also have plenty of on-site parking for drivers, including EV charging ports.
